25mm x 75mm double leaves, rebated
casement in single pane, 150mmx50mm
rebated head & jambs, twice rebated
mullions, 200mm x 50mm sunk,
weathered & throated sill & screwed to timber guards.
Ironmongeries
Supply and fix the following or other
equal and approved ironmongery complete
with requisite matching screws:-
D Dex 100mm pressed steel butt hinges & No 32
fixed to timber
E Yale 5400 Series Window lock handle including nuts and No 16
bolts fixed to timber window.
Glazing
F 5mm thick clear float glass fixed to m2 12
timber beads in panes area exceeding
0.1m2 but not exceeding 0.5 m2
Painting
Prepare and apply one coat of Jotun Gardex zinc
chromate primer or other approved equivalent
primer paints as desribed on:
G General surface of timber not exceeding
150mm girth m 96
Knotting, stopping and apply one coat of Jotun
Gardex primer, one Jotun Gardex undercoat
and two finishing coats of Jotun Gardex or other
approved equivalent gloss paint
as desribed on:
H Timber window, over 300mm girth m2 35
