1000 students in a developmental maths course. After about 1-2 hours with adaptive system
Found them a really enjoyableway of consolidating my learning.
Yes I found this was useful to aid my learning as really struggle with a & p
I found the questions were too difficult to understand and sometimes l found them off putting every time when you anwer the question wrong.
I enjoyed using the connect/learn smart materials as a compliment to the power point presentations. It helped to reinforce the infomation in a more 'light and informal' way.
i believe that it is very important that sudent should apply theory to practice but it would have been better
to do the examination as we go along rather than the end of the module.
I did find the learnsmart materials useful when revising and felt this was helpful at the end of my revision to test my knowledge and look back on what I needed to focus on more. The only negative was that I felt some of the content was not what we had been taught in lectures and was then unsure whether I needed to know it for the exam.

I found the questions appropriate to the module content and they were very useful in aiding my revision process
thank you very much
The Learnsmart is I believe a good tool. Unfortunately for me this is the first time I have studied any science since GCSE's 12 years ago, so the learnsmart was at times very demotivating for someone who is starting from scratch again as the questions were difficult. However it was a good preparation tool.
It is a great way to revise the different topics within the module. I enjoy/enjoyed completing the activities.
Personally i found it extremely helpful and used the programme alot to revise from. I did find some of the question a bit to complex and sometimes a little off-putting, however gave it a good go to try and find information and answer the questions.
I think that the learn smart was useful although the questions were often hard and seemed at a higher level than what we are being taught or tested on. When following the link from the module homepage, your homework and learnsmart topics came up but you were unable to use the aid of the book, for this you had to go through each week seperately and find the homework/learnsmart set.
I enjoyed doing the test questions and found them really helpful
They were often quite long and were often quite repetitive. They would be better to be shorter, quick tests to see how we are doing in the area.
They were helpful in understanding the topics, however they differed greatly from questions as saked in the exam.
