Edwin van Wijk
Edwin van Wijk (1962) is the founder and managing director of Value@Stake. He
worked for a number of blue chip Dutch financial services companies like
MeesPierson, Robeco Group, Delta Lloyd and ABNAMRO subsidiary Stater, in
sales, marketing, PR and corporate communications responsibilities.

As Director of Financial Communications and Stakeholder Management at Hill &
Knowlton Nederland, from 2006 to 2011, Edwin was closely involved in a large
number of mergers, acquisitions, IPO’s, delistings and other business critical
situations.
Since he founded Value@Stake in 2010, Edwin and his colleagues have been
advising a large number of Dutch and international public and privately owned
companies, including Argos Oil, Heijmans, Linklaters, The Dutch Association for
Private Equity and Venture Capital Investors NVP, Corio, APX ENDEX, Shire and
Advent International.
Edwin holds a Masters degree in Japanology (Leiden University) and studied PR
and Mass Communications at Utrecht University and Waseda University, Tokyo,
Japan.

Maarten Halsema
Maarten (1968) is the co-founder and shareholder in Value@Stake. He studied
Business and Communications and worked at Reed Exhibition Companies, where
he became Exhibition Manager of the annual event Geldzaken, a consumer fair
on personal financial planning.

He continued his career at a communications agency where he became
Commercial Director. in 2003 he founded the PR Agency IvRM, together with
Peter Davina,
Maarten worked for a wide variety of Dutch and international corporate and
financial services clients. In the financial sector he advised a.o. Pictet & Cie, First
Dutch Capital, MeesPierson, Delta Lloyd, Stater, AMEV, WestlandUtrecht,
Florius, Interpolis, GarantiBank, AfaB, Mazars Berenschot Corporate Finance.

Peter Davina
Peter (1976) is co-founder and shareholder in Value@Stake. He studied Business
and Communications. He started his professional career as an account manager
for Reed Exhibition Companies where he met Maarten Halsema, his current
business partner.

Subsequently, he became a communications consultant at a PR agency. In 2003
he and his colleague Maarten Halsema, decided to start their own agency, IvRM,
Peter co-founder of Value@Stake and partner of Worldcom PR Group and board
member of the Dutch association of independent PR agencies VPRA.
During his career, Peter has worked for a great number of Dutch and international
clients, including AXA Investment Managers, AXA Insurances, TNT, Towers
Watson, Van Lanschot, Van der Hoop Bankiers, Argos Group, Achmea, KPN, De
Hypotheekshop, IFN Finance, Lovells.

Jon Aarons is a senior managing director in the FTI Strategic Communications
practice and is based in London. He is responsible for coordinating cross-border
business through the EMEA region and developing the Strategic Communications
international network, providing solutions for clients across a wide range of global
markets.
Mr. Aarons has more than 25 years of consulting experience and joined Financial
Dynamics (now FTI Consulting) in 2000 having begun his career on the staff of
former British Foreign Secretary Lord Owen. He had worked in successful
entrepreneurial consultancies as a consultant in strategic communications since
the mid-1980s. He has advised many clients over the years in all sectors and
international markets on every aspect of their corporate positioning, marketing
communications and reputation management. He helped to build the firm's
corporate communications, issues and crisis advisory capabilities in London,
before assuming his current role when FD was acquired by FTI Consulting in
2006, coordinating business in the world's fastest growing and most challenging
markets. He has focused particularly on establishing the firm's significant presence
in Russia, Emerging Europe, Middle East, India and Africa.
Mr. Aarons graduated in politics at Exeter University, holds a postgraduate
Diploma in communications, advertising and marketing, is past president and
currently fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and member of the
International Public Relations Association. He is a frequent contributor to industry
conferences and publications.
