Target Audience
The target audience for my magazine Crescendo is both genders
and young adults within the ages of 16-30. They must be
interested in the genre of alternative music and be keen to find
out about all the latest releases, information about artists,
merchandise and tours/gigs. It is for any social class as it is
only out once a month at an appropriate price of £3.00.

This guy looks easy going, and the
bright coloured tattoos that have
connotations of the alternative style
which then suggests the music he is
into is alternative music. Many artists
in this genre of music themselves have
tattoos.

hat suggests an alternative style
along with geek-sheek styled glasses.
He looks like the type of person who
would be interested in buying my
magazine since it is based on an
alternative style of music. Also

suited to being featured in my
magazine.

teenager who would be interested in
my alternative magazine. The
magazine appeals to people of his
ages as it gives information about the
kind of artists they are interested in.
His t-shirt suggests he is sort of
geeky/quirky and alternative.

This woman’s clothes has
connotations of music festivals as it
is quite quirky but fun. Lots of
alternative type of music is played at
festivals which therefore suggests
that she would be part of my target
audience as the crescendo tour is a
festival which she may be interested
in.

This woman is very stylish and her
cross necklace shows a slight
alternative touch to her style. This
magazine would appeal to her as she
can read articles about her favourite
artists and find out about their style
and fashion for example the fashion
article with Lana Del Rey.

This girl is clearly interested in music
as she has headphones on most likely
listening to music. The dark colours
she is wearing has connotations of an
alternative style (purple and black). I
think that she would enjoy my
magazine as it would appeal to her
age.
