After being two years in JTI we have experienced the following difficulties:
As a result, there are many concurrent initiatives that get stuck, no matter how relevant
they are for the organization. This leads to a lack of control, no clear focus and
inattention to results.
5. SETTING A VISION

This proposal addresses the current situation by means of a participatory process
that will allow JTI to design an execution framework connected with the strategy and
flexible enough to incorporate new needs as the economic context evolves.
The process will allow JTI to:
- Gain ExCom’s awareness of the key strategic issues and opportunities ahead
- Reach consensus over the key goals and the roadmap
- Gain ExCom’s engagement in leading the execution of the plans according to the
strategy
- Align areas for coordinated, strategy-enforcing actions
VISION: A strategic framework that is endorsed by the ExCom, is executed with
commitment and moves the business needle
