1. Estel e-Top Up
Distribution Process
Enrolling
Buying
Retailer
Transfer
The operator enrols
distributors, who in turn
enrol retailers to sell
e-Top Up.
The operator creates
m-Wallets for distributors
& retailers in the e-Top Up
system.
The distributor pays the
operator to buy airtime
stock (prepaid) for
distribution, who credits
this stock into his
m-Wallet as prepaid
balance.
Subscribers visit the
retailer; the retailer enters
a subscriber phone
number, recharge amount
& his password into their
mobile POS device menu
& sends a secure
SMS/USSD (or GPRS) to
the e-Top Up system.
Using his mobile (or POS device), the
distributor transfers part of their stock to
retailers under them (net of commission),
who get an SMS with their new balance.
Now, retailers have prepaid balance
(stock) in their m-Wallets.

Recharge
e-Top Up system debits retailer’s
m-Wallet with recharge amount
(net of commission) and credits
this amount into subscriber’s
prepaid account in the IN.
Both retailers & subscribers
get an SMS notification of their
new balance, along with a
Transaction ID & date/time
stamp.
