Watching a YouTube Video Use the search function to find a video. To select a video that you like, click on the image.Use the controls below to watch the video (these maychange slightly in appearance, but essentially remain thesame):Favouriting a VideoTo save a video to watch forlater, or to recommend toothers watching your videostream, look below the vid-eo.“Like” a video to add to the‘crowd’ who approve of the video. 2
  3. 3. Curate a Collection of Videos Again, below the video, click on ‘Add To’. You can just add to ‘Favorites’, or you can create a Playlist (for a particular set of videos on a topic). Playlists are helpful in creating sets of videos that you re- quire students to watch before a taught session. List by theme, or by week. See the YouTube ‘Help’ pages for more information: Embedding YouTube Videos The ‘Share’ option gives you a URL or the ‘Embed Code’ to share the video with others. The flag is an option to ‘flag as inappropriate’. The final button will bring up an automatically generated transcript.
