2. Where? La Plata (city of diagonals)
Founded by Dardo Rocha in 19
November 1882
Pedro Benoit designed a city layout
based on a rationalist conception of
urban centers.
The city has the shape of a square with a
central park and two main diagonal
avenues, north to south and east to west
Small blocks of six by six blocks in
length.
For every six blocks, there is a small park
or square.
It is also called "la ciudad de los tilos"
(city of linden trees)

25. What is your motivation ?
I joined FAST eight years ago
My motivation was just to collaborate
with the Smalltalk community from Argentina
How?
Inviting Stéphane Ducasse, some of my european
colleagues (and friends) such as Luc Fabresse, Tudor
Girba, Mircea Lungu, among others, and this year my
first professor in Europe, Theo D’Hondt
Motivating students to participate and meet people as I
learned
27. Now it is time for you . . .
Look for your motivation in the
Smalltalk Community in Argentina
Help with ideas and some time with
FAST
and . . . Enjoy the conference!!!
