This paper proposes efficient motion detection and people counting based on background subtraction using dynamic threshold approach with mathematical morphology. Here these different methods are used effectively for object detection and compare these performance based on accurate detection. Here the techniques frame differences, dynamic threshold based detection will be used. After the object foreground detection, the parameters like speed, velocity motion will be determined. For this, most of previous methods depend on the assumption that the background is static over short time periods. In dynamic threshold based object detection, morphological process and filtering also used effectively for unwanted pixel removal from the background. The background frame will be updated by comparing the current frame intensities with reference frame. Along with this dynamic threshold, mathematical morphology also used which has an ability of greatly attenuating color variations generated by background motions while still highlighting moving objects. Finally the simulated results will be shown that used approximate median with mathematical morphology approach is effective rather than prior background subtraction methods in dynamic texture scenes and performance parameters of moving object such sensitivity, speed and velocity will be evaluated by using MOI.

This paper focus on keyphrase extraction for news articles because news article is one of the popular document genres on the web and most news articles have no author-assigned keyphrases. Existing methods for single document keyphrase extraction usually make use of only the information contained in the specified document. This paper proposes to use a small number of nearest neighbor documents to provide more knowledge to improve single document keyphrase extraction. Experimental results demonstrate the good effectiveness and robustness of our proposed approach. According to experiments conducted on several documents and keyphrases we consider top 10 keyphrases are most suitable keyphrases.

The purpose of this Paper is to describe our research on different feature extraction and matching techniques in designing a Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) system. Due to the enormous increase in image database sizes, as well as its vast deployment in various applications, the need for CBIR development arose. Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) is the retrieval of images based on features such as color and texture. Image retrieval using color feature cannot provide good solution for accuracy and efficiency. The most important features are Color and texture. In this paper technique used for retrieving the images based on their content namely dominant color, texture and combination of both color and texture. The technique verifies the superiority of image retrieval using multi feature than the single feature.

The generation of electricity using wind power is significantly increasing and has received considerable attention in recent years. One important problem with the induction generator based wind farms is that they are vulnerable to voltage disturbances and short circuit faults. Any such disturbance may cause wind farm outages. Since wind power contribution is in considerable percentage, such outages may lead to power system stability issues and also violate the grid code requirements. Thus, improving the reliability of wind farms is essential to maintain the stability of the system. The proposed strategy is to use Dynamic Voltage Restorer (DVR), which is one of the promising devices to compensate the voltage disturbance and to improve the stability of the system. It provides the wind generator with the fault ride through capability and improves the reliability of the system. Fuzzy Logic controller is used as a controller in order to control the dc link voltages and to reduce the harmonics. Simulation results for a 2 MW wind turbine are presented, especially for asymmetrical grid faults. They show the effectiveness of the DVR in comparison to the low voltage ride-through of the DFIG using a crowbar that does not allow continuous reactive power production. Extensive simulation results are included to illustrate the operation of DVR and fault compensation.

Manual Ceramic Tile inspection process is tedious if human operator is employed to look for defective tiles and their elimination. The plain ceramic tiles often have the following types of defects viz Cracks, Blobs and pin holes [1]. The fatigue of human operator deteriorates the quality of the tile being produced. In this paper a novel and simple automatic tile defect identification and elimination system is proposed. The proposed system is built around MATLAB and ARDUINO. The systems performance is evaluated in terms of accuracy and time taken for detection. The Proposed system promises superior performance when compared to the other existing system
