6. Fissure
Pain : when going to the toilet, During the
passing of a stool the pain is sharp, and then
afterwards there may be a longer deep
burning sensation. (avoid going to the toilet),
when clean themselves with toilet paper
Blood : bright red and may be noticed on the
stools or the toilet paper
Itching :
Pus : malodorous (bad smelling) discharge
7. Anorectal Abscess
Superficial anal abscesses are often associated with:
Pain, which is usually constant, throbbing, and worse when
sitting down
Skin irritation around the anus, including swelling, redness,
and tenderness
Discharge of pus (later fisula)
Constipation due to pain associated with bowel movement
Deeper anal abscesses may also be associated with:
Fever
Chills
Malaise
Sometimes, fever is the only symptom of deep anal
abscesses.
8. Perianal Haematoma
painful lump at the edge of the anal
opening (anal verge),this lump usually
quite painful. The pain will last for a
week to ten days.(history of lifting
heavy objects)
Eventually, the pain will lessen and stop,
This Will left firm lump which will
gradually shrink and disappear .
9. Prolapsed Haemorrhoids
History of painless bleeding with bowel
motion
feel them as moist, pink pads of skin that
are pinker than the surrounding area.

10. Anal Carcinoma
• Rectal bleeding
• Rectal itching
• A lump or mass at the anal opening
• Pain or a feeling of fullness in the anal
area
• Narrowing of stool or other changes in
bowel movements
• Abnormal discharge from the anus
• Swollen lymph nodes in the anal or groin
areas
