10. Target Audience
The type of audience that I my magazine would appeal most to would be a male or female audience aged
between 15-33 depending on whether or not they enjoy football gossip. The characteristics my audience would
have would be those who really enjoy football and like to keep on top of the news about football. Things such as
transfers with big clubs and a lot of money on certain players. One of the most popular UK tribe that are
extremely mainstream and are passionate to their sports called sport junkies. So if they play football then they
will be passionate and therefore want to read the news on their sport as they will be enjoy knowing how their
team they support get on. The reason I think that sport junkies are extremely mainstream is because that football
league’s last a lot of the year so you can support your team for a long period of time and there is that excitement
of you team possibly winning the league. Another reason why I believe all ages are into football is that it can
become a opportunity to win a lot of money if you know the teams and how their form are at the moment.
12. The gender of my responses were 11 boys and 11 girls
so it worked out 50% boys and 50% girls. This is good
because it gives a view of both boys and girls
perspectives on football magazines. This means although
the target audience is mostly men I could incorporate
something to appeal to girls.
Survey Analysis
Most of my answers are accurate because I haven't targeted 15 to
44 years old and 20 out of 22 people chosen 15 to 24 so a large
percentage were between them ages. Another answer was in-
between 35 and 44 and my teacher answered so I could see what
her perception on football magazines are. The final answer was
factually inaccurate as I didn’t target that age group.
13. Survey Analysis
63.64% of the people I asked about my
questionnaire did not like football, this isn't
surprising to me because 50% of my responses were
female and the majority of girls that I have asked
before the questionnaire didn’t like football. The
other 36.36% did like football.
Most of these replies were Nike, this shows how well
known the brand is because some of the people might not
of known many football boot brands so they went with
Nike because that is known for shoes or football boots.
Other results consist of Adidas also being a well known
brand for football boot.
14. Survey Analysis
The most frequent answer for this question was Leicester City. The
reason for this is because of the people I targeted all live in Leicester
so I predicted this because of who I targeted and where they live.
The percentage of who chose Leicester City for their team they
support was 42.86%.
