Prayer at Work

  1. 1. Bible Passages on Prayer for Children
  2. 2. Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. We can come to God with bold confidence and we will receive from him whatever we ask because we obey him and do the things that please him. (Matthew 7:7-8, 1 John 3:21-22)
  3. 3. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7,19)
  4. 4. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it! – Jesus (1 John 5:14-15, John 15:7, John 14:14)
  5. 5. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere. Pray for all people. Ask God to bless them and give them what they need. And give thanks. You should pray for rulers and for all who have authority. Pray for these leaders so that we can live quiet and peaceful lives—lives full of devotion to God and respect for him. This is good and pleases God our Savior. (Ephesians 6:18, 1 Timothy 2:1-3)
  6. 6. “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” – Jesus (Matthew 18:18-20)
