May 2008 –Sep 2010 Project: NSG METRICS Company: Verizon Description: Verizon is biggest telecom (wire-line and wireless) provider in US. Verizon is providing customers with self-service with the help of voice portals, which will enable the customers to go through certain different steps and resolve the problem immediately. All the steps are provided by the voice portal machine where customer has to follow the steps to solve the problems. NSG provides metrics of different voice portals such as FSC, FSCTech and VRRC of the transaction, self-service, agent transfer and abounded calls. These metrics are based on the region and state. The metrics is the feedback to the voice portal service, based on which the enhancement and upgrading the voice portal is done to increase the self-service and reduce the agent transfer. Responsibilities: • Responsible for the Data Processing and maintaining Data in Relational Databases for Reporting Purpose using SqlServer Integration Services (SSIS). • Writing Stored Procedures for Data Processing and Reporting Purposes. • Created partition table for very large database for good performance. • Rebuild the Indexes on Relational database to increase the data reading/sec as well as decrease the processing time of the cubes. • Created joins and sub-queries for complex queries involving multiple tables. • Using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS), and SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS). • Developed several reports with consistent drill-down functionality including Drilldown reports, Summary reports and Master Detail reports. • Created Datawarehouse Cubes in SQL Server Analysis Service (SSAS).

Responsibilities: • Created and developed the stored procedures, triggers to handle complex business rules, history data and audit analysis. • Developed, modified and optimized complex queries to data retrieval and modification. • Used SQL Profiler for troubleshooting, monitoring, optimization of SQL Server and non- production database code as well as T-SQL code from developers and QA. • Write specifications from direct or indirect observation and analysis of client business environment. • Responsible for providing production support. • Interacted with team and assisted them in optimizing SQL Queries and Stored Procedures.
