Sheppard Piling is a specialist piling contactor installing cost effective piled
solutions throughout London and the south east. Operating from it base in
Fetcham, Surrey Sheppard Piling is able to service the M25 and surrounding
counties efficiently but has completed many projects further afield in the
midlands and down in to Dorset and as far as Devon.
Sheppard pilings core business lies in the installation of Continuous Flight
Auger Piles (CFA Piling) having invested heavily in a modern comprehensive
fleet as part of its expansion program with many of its machines less than 2
years old accompanied by state-of-the-art concrete monitoring systems.
Sheppard Piling also caters for restricted access, low headroom sites that
require mini piling. Our mini rigs can work in as little as 2.0m of headroom
and fit through a standard door way. We have a variety of systems and
diameters to cater for different ground conditions / structural loads and site
constraints.
We believe that our service level at planning / pre-construction is unique
and sets us apart from other organisations who do not invest the time with
their clients to value engineer projects. It is this strive to make savings on
cost and construction programs which has forged solid relationships with

ground around your home is unstable and likely to move or the
sub-structure is weak and harbours tree roots. Piling might also be
required due to practical considerations and site restrictions.

our clients during the design process or even carry out the full
foundation design, providing the relevant calculations, drawings
and schedules for building control. When taking on the full design
we often provide a more economical solution due to the
experience of our civil engineers with all work being covered by
our 12-year company guarantee.
We are a considerate contractor and understand that you will
probably be residing in your property whilst the works are being
carried out. Our team will provide you with the support that you
need, keeping noise to a minimum whilst maintaining a clean site.

or on the homeowner’s behalf as we have many types of
piling rigs and techniques that we will discuss to conclude on
the successful outcome of the project.
We generally deploy small restricted access rigs that are
virtually vibration free and can install piles close to boundary
walls.

DEVELOPERSOur capabilities include concrete piling and CFA & Rotary auger
bored piling for open site with diameters ranging from 300mm –
750mm and up to depths of 30.0m, for commercial restricted sites
we have both bored and driven piling rigs to suit low headroom
working or sites that have confined working space, with diameters
ranging from 150mm – 450mm and depths of up to 25.0m.
All our staff are fully trained to meet CSCS / CPCS & NPORS
requirements, for projects that where we are required to work near
or in conjunction with network rail we have staff that are PTS
trained to work in their environments.

shrinkable clays or made up ground is an issue.
We are able to offer tailored solutions to meet
your requirements and provide full design
