process, setting up the camera in the correct spot then selecting a menu option on the parent unit will
pair the two together quickly. When receiving more than one signal at a time, the Parent Unit can be set
to flip between the active cameras every few seconds, or can be manually switched between one
                                          camera and the other.
Once your Grand Elite Monitor System is up and running, you will be pleasantly surprised at just how
excellent the reception quality is. Video Baby Monitors in the past have suffered from either a low quality
signal, or a low quality image from a poor screen size. Utilising encrypted digital technology for security
and quality, the Luvion Grand Elite provides almost HD quality images, and the crispest audio available
on a Digital Video Baby Monitor. In our tests, the baby unit was placed next to a radio in another part of
the building, and the parent unit on a desk. Once the connection was achieved, it would be completely
reasonable to believe that the radio was in our office, such is the quality of the transmission, and the
speaker installed in the Parent Unit.
Of course it would be impossible to discuss the performance of any Video Baby Monitor without testing it
in low-light conditions this is when Baby Monitors get the most use. The Luvion Grand Elite has an
impressive depth of field, and very little loss in quality when in strong darkness. It is worth noting for
parents new to video baby monitoring, night vision works entirely in black and white, often with a slightly
green tinge. The Luvion Grand Elite works as such, and really stands out in this area with its 5 metre
depth of vision, with competitors often struggling beyond 2 metres.
In conclusion, the Luvion Grand Elite Digital Video Baby Monitor is truly a revolutionary product in its field.
Drawing together the superior elements of other leading Baby Monitors, and combining them in a
beautifully styled and compact unit with excellent build quality, Luvion have produced an instant market-
leader. The Grand Elite has taken its place at the top of the food chain, and will become the measuring
stick against which all Video Baby Monitors must be compared.

What is the best baby monitor & bottle warmer?
Hi moms, just need your experience on this one. I read a lot of reviews for baby monitors,
but not so much for bottle warmers. There’s so much mixed reviews on both these items, I dont
    know which to get.
Which baby monitors (video) & bottle warmers do you have and did you like it?
    Thanks in advance!

We don’t use a monitor b/c our place is really small.
I have used a bottle warmer for about 5 months now – ever since it became clear my baby
would have to be a “formula baby.” I recently bought a new one, the First Years’ Night and
Day bottle warmer. This is really cool b/c it is a warmer with a cooler in the back. The back
part has an ice pack and you can put two bottles in the back part with the ice pack, and
bring the whole thing into the nursery or place it by your bed. It’s a little hard to explain,

Anyway, with this warmer there is no longer a need to get up and go into the kitchen. I
               really like it

I really like the fact that it lights up in response to noise… if I’m taking a shower and can’t
hear over the running water, I can peek out periodically to see whether my girls are
               making noise.

What is the best baby video monitor?
We have a 13 week old baby and are going to buy a video monitor to keep an eye on him
when in his cot. There are so many available with different reviews, can anyone recommend a good
one preferably with zoom function from the parent unit?

That happens to be the monitor I have and I absolutely love it. I can see my
baby when she sleeps. It has saved me many trips to her room worrying if
something was wrong. She is now 13 months old. The best part is, I just had a second
baby 3 weeks ago and when I put her in her crib I wont have to buy another monitor. Just
another video that will hook up to the second channel on the actual monitor so all I have to
do is switch channels to see my girls sleeping. That’s the one I would have
          recommended for you.

baby monitor help needed?
I purchased a baby monitor for $100 and I ended up having to take it back. It did not work
properly, static and buzzing noises.
Is there a place I can find a review of baby monitors before I purchase another one? What one do
you have (brand specific) and are you happy with it?
**My husband does not want one of the motion censors, and we were hoping to get one with two
handsets – although at this point we’d take one as long as it worked well.

also have cheap shipping and very good prices. I have this one and it works

Right now I have the Summer infant secure sounds and it is horrible. It cracks, beeps,
and keeps us up for no reason. I am ready to trash it and pay more money for a good nights sleep. I
have read so many reviews and just cant make a decision. I don’t want beeps, or static…anyone
out there with good advice/experience?

I am looking for a really good basic baby monitor….?
I want one that won’t get any interference from our next door neighbors child monitor or
the radio etc… It does not have to be expensive, just good personal reviews from mommies.
Thanks!

What is the best video baby monitor out there?
I’m looking for a video monitor that can have several different cameras (need it to monitor
at least two rooms). I have read reviews on many, many brands and products but they are all so
contradictory. Any advice from someone who has one and either loves it or doesn’t like it would be
very helpful.
Can you be more specific….there are a lot of different Summer Infant video monitors. Why do you
like it?

          ie=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42871041&mcb=core
the price says £33 which is ridiculous as we got ours for £20 so look around and you
should be able to find it cheaper.
with it you’re able to use batteries or plug it in. i like to keep one plugged in and one with
battaries in case i need to go out to the car, take a shower… the night lamp is also good.
all in all, it’s great for what you’re paying and we’ve had ours for 18 months, used daily,
          and still functions fine.

Recommendation on a good video baby monitor…?
Have any parents out there found a really good video baby monitor? My husband and I are
just now TTC but I want to get as much info on good equipment now. I like the idea of a video
monitor so that we can make sure our baby doesn’t have anything blocking his/her airway. Any
reviews on monitors that you really love or really hate would be appreciated!
Thank you!

The Summer Night&Day is a pretty popluar one. it’s almost $200, but it has bad
reception. Ialso have a used Fisher Price Sound&Lights that I bought for $5 and
it works waaaaaaay better. I can actually go outside with it and I don’t get interference. The
Summer one gets interference almost everywhere in the house, and you can forget going
outside with it. The screen is nice, ad I can see a lot of detail, but unless I’m by the baby’s
room it’s so annoying. It also interferes with my cell phone (I think they all do), but this one
does it a lot, especially when I’m using the web. It also only has 2 channels whereas the
Fisher Price one has 10. It might be worth it for you to buy a Summer one used from
Craigslist or something, because I don’t think it’s worth $200

What baby monitor do you have? Are you happy with it?
This has been a toughie for me and hubby. The reviews on all baby monitors are very
mixed, and neither brand nor price really seem to have anything to do with whether or not people
like a monitor. Just wondering what you have and use, and maybe what you’ve used in the past.
What have your experiences been like with those brands?

We picked up a used ‘first years’ one at a garage sale…it works fine…but our
rooms are so close together at one end of the house, that we wind up just
           turning it off.
My sister used an ‘Angelcare’ one…it works fine too…
They’re generally all pretty good…it just depends on whether you want ‘bells and
           whistles’ with it or not.

Due in 2 days in the uk,Can u recommend a baby monitor? Are the ones with sensor
pads really any good?
I’ve read reviews galore but would also like ur opinion.
Good monitors are so expensive but def worth it so i have been looking at the ones with sensor
pads but they get very mixed reviews.
What one do u have and do u recommend it?
Thankyou xx

I have a Tomy Walkabout Platinum Monitor. It cost me about £100 (18mths ago)
           but is well worth it.
           It’s digital so no interference;
           Baby unit has built in nightlight which can be turned on / off with parent unit;
Talk-back feature so you can offer reassurance if you don’t want to go in to them (also v.
handy for requesting help from partner downstairs such as ‘bring me a bottle / calpol
           etc’!)
           Both units tell you the temperature in babies room;
           You can record the time of last feed on parent unit so that you know when you last went in;
Vibrating option if you don’t want sound on and also noise activated lights so you can tell
at a glance if there’s any action!
The Tomy careline are also fantastic – I have had a couple of replacement bits and bobs
(my own fault as we didn’t pack it properly when travellng so it got damaged!) all free of
charge and sent out very quickly. They’re good with queries too!
I can’t comment on sensor pads but would say that maybe they would cause more panic
than they resolve, and what happens if the baby wriggles to other end of cot?
           Hope this helps. Good luck!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a video baby monitor that you can access over
the internet as well?
I’m looking for a video baby monitor that can be used at home and also can be viewed over the
internet for when you are not home. Does anyone have recommendations? I’ve heard of the
Mobicam, but it doesn’t have great reviews.

I use Tomy walk about and it is great. I put my baby to bed during the day and
go and sit at the other end of my garden and can still hear him as though he is
next to me. Mine was on offer at Toys r us I got it for 19.99 but I think that it is normally
           39.99.
Shop around though for special offers don’t just stick to one shop.

Based on your actual experience, what is the best baby video monitor for sale?
I’ve heard so many different, mixed reviews. I’m mostly concerned about them not
working with our wireless network (which I don’t know how to tweak). If anyone has a good one that
works well with a wireless network that doesn’t cost TONS of money, please pass on the info.
Thanks!

What do you mean working with wireless network? Most baby monitors are
wireless, but they don’t connect to a modem. Do you just mean without a cord
or actually hooked up to a computer? I have been using Summer Infant Hand Held Video
baby monitor for 6 month now and can’t complain. It sees at night and has color. The
monitor is hand held so you can carry it with you where you want to. At first the battery
would last 3-4 days now it lasts 2 days, then you have to recharge, but it can be on when
charging. I got mine on eBay at half the cost. If you still don’t have your baby and don’t
need one ASAP. Start looking for deals. I got ours 2 month before the baby was born but it
took me 4 weeks to get the deal I wanted.
I’m also using a wireless connection on my laptop and there is no interference with the
monitor, it’s working perfectly fine. Also it does NOT pick up cell phones, radios or other
             babies.

   reviews for baby monitors?
We are looking for a really good quality baby monitor and we want one that has
nightvision (or infrared or whatever it’s called) I’ve sen some that monitor the baby in the dark but
most of them have LEDs on the camera. I don’t want to shine a flood light on my baby at night. We
just want something that works in the dark without a light. Can anybody recommend a good
   monitor?

             * Features built-in night light and lullabies to soothe baby
             * Digital wireless technology means no interference (90% ofbaby monitors uses MHZ

   baby monitor?
Any suggestions for a decent one for under 100? The reviews I’ve read in the $50 range
haven’t been great but any suggestions would be helpful.
I was looking at just a traditional monitor. I would like to spend under $50. Its hard to go by alot of
reviews online because most people live in subdivisions with alot of activity.. I dont. I live in the
boonies hah.. so maybe interference wouldnt be as bad..

I have the Graco Ultra Clear II Monitor with Nightlight. It was about $29 and I’ve
been using it for 10 months with minimal problems. It gets really good reviews
considering it’s priced so low. Once or twice I have gotten a little static sound from it but it
went away quickly and only came from the part I keep downstairs (basically the part that is
upstairs with the sleeping baby has never had that problem). I do a lot of product research
before I buy and it seems when it comes to non-video monitors even the pricey ones have
             problems.

At first glance, the feature that stands out Shannon L - Gavin's Mommy on immediately is the sheer size of the screen. At 3.5 Identifying Baby Sleep Video Baby Monitor Reviews inches, the Grand Elite has a screen equal to the Infant Car Seat <3 on Multi Room Baby Monitor largest screens available on Digital Video Baby Monitors, though no other manufacturer has shoe- horned a screen that large, in to a parent unit so small; Archives at a mere 16mm depth, the Luvion Grand Elite has the thinnest parent unit available today (making it extremely portable). Looks-wise, the parent unit is very minimalist, cast in white, gloss plastic, with the large screen dominating the front panel, and three February 2012 buttons set in to the right of the facia: Menu, Scan, and a 4-way D-Pad which doubles up as the volume January 2012 control. Running up the left side of the impressive-sized screen are six LED bars, invisible when not in use, which give a visual indicator of noise being transmitted from the Baby Unit. This is particularly useful when the volume is reduced on the parent unit, allowing it to be run effectively in complete Categories silence. The rest of the controls for the Luvion Grand Elite are spaced down the thin outer edges of the parent unit, Giving a very clean look and finish to the product. These controls and features include 2-way Baby Jogger Talkback, lullabies and nightlights on the Camera Unit (all being remotely controlled, which is a labour- Baby Monitor saving addition). One thing that truly sets the Luvion Grand Elite apart however, is its amazing Baby Shower connectivity. As with Luvion's first Baby Monitor, the Luvion Platinum Digital, the Grand Elite can be Baby Umbrella Stroller connected to a television, which is particularly excellent when used in conjunction with Picture in Picture' Children Tricycle viewing, available on most modern shows. This feature allows parents to maintain a watchful eye on their children, whilst not missing any of their favourite television. New and unique to the Grand Elite Diapers however, is the ability to input a Micro-SD card in to the Parent Unit, and record up to 16 hours of your Identifying Baby Sleep Cues baby's finest moments on to one Micro-SD. Adding extra Camera Units The Luvion Grand Elite can receive signals from up to four at a time is a very quick process, setting up the camera in the correct spot then selecting a menu option on the parent unit will pair the two together quickly. When receiving more than one signal at a time, the Parent Unit can be set to flip between the active cameras every few seconds, or can be manually switched between one camera and the other. Once your Grand Elite Monitor System is up and running, you will be pleasantly surprised at just how excellent the reception quality is. Video Baby Monitors in the past have suffered from either a low quality signal, or a low quality image from a poor screen size. Utilising encrypted digital technology for security and quality, the Luvion Grand Elite provides almost HD quality images, and the crispest audio available on a Digital Video Baby Monitor. In our tests, the baby unit was placed next to a radio in another part of the building, and the parent unit on a desk. Once the connection was achieved, it would be completely reasonable to believe that the radio was in our office, such is the quality of the transmission, and the speaker installed in the Parent Unit. Of course it would be impossible to discuss the performance of any Video Baby Monitor without testing it in low-light conditions this is when Baby Monitors get the most use. The Luvion Grand Elite has an impressive depth of field, and very little loss in quality when in strong darkness. It is worth noting for parents new to video baby monitoring, night vision works entirely in black and white, often with a slightly

In conclusion, the Luvion Grand Elite Digital Video Baby Monitor is truly a revolutionary product in its field. Drawing together the superior elements of other leading Baby Monitors, and combining them in a beautifully styled and compact unit with excellent build quality, Luvion have produced an instant market- leader. The Grand Elite has taken its place at the top of the food chain, and will become the measuring stick against which all Video Baby Monitors must be compared. Hi moms, just need your experience on this one. I read a lot of reviews for baby monitors, but not so much for bottle warmers. There’s so much mixed reviews on both these items, I dont know which to get. Which baby monitors (video) & bottle warmers do you have and did you like it? Thanks in advance! Reply Anonymous: February 20, 2012 at 3:15 am We don’t use a monitor b/c our place is really small. I have used a bottle warmer for about 5 months now – ever since it became clear my baby would have to be a “formula baby.” I recently bought a new one, the First Years’ Night and Day bottle warmer. This is really cool b/c it is a warmer with a cooler in the back. The back part has an ice pack and you can put two bottles in the back part with the ice pack, and bring the whole thing into the nursery or place it by your bed. It’s a little hard to explain, here is a link: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2403657&CAWELAID=107509627 Anyway, with this warmer there is no longer a need to get up and go into the kitchen. I really like it Reply RedEaredPanda: February 8, 2012 at 2:44 am deciding on a baby monitor? Reply Kim B: April 13, 2012 at 2:12 am That happens to be the monitor I have and I absolutely love it. I can see my baby when she sleeps. It has saved me many trips to her room worrying if something was wrong. She is now 13 months old. The best part is, I just had a second baby 3 weeks ago and when I put her in her crib I wont have to buy another monitor. Just another video that will hook up to the second channel on the actual monitor so all I have to do is switch channels to see my girls sleeping. That’s the one I would have recommended for you. Thank you! Reply StAn: May 4, 2012 at 8:19 am The Summer Night&Day is a pretty popluar one. it’s almost $200, but it has bad reception. Ialso have a used Fisher Price Sound&Lights that I bought for $5 and it works waaaaaaay better. I can actually go outside with it and I don’t get interference. The Summer one gets interference almost everywhere in the house, and you can forget going outside with it. The screen is nice, ad I can see a lot of detail, but unless I’m by the baby’s room it’s so annoying. It also interferes with my cell phone (I think they all do), but this one does it a lot, especially when I’m using the web. It also only has 2 channels whereas the Fisher Price one has 10. It might be worth it for you to buy a Summer one used from Craigslist or something, because I don’t think it’s worth $200 Reply Beth: May 11, 2012 at 5:04 am What baby monitor do you have? Good monitors are so expensive but def worth it so i have been looking at the ones with sensor pads but they get very mixed reviews. What one do u have and do u recommend it? Thankyou xx Reply sezbobaloula: May 29, 2012 at 1:19 am I have a Tomy Walkabout Platinum Monitor. It cost me about £100 (18mths ago) but is well worth it. It’s digital so no interference; Baby unit has built in nightlight which can be turned on / off with parent unit; Talk-back feature so you can offer reassurance if you don’t want to go in to them (also v. handy for requesting help from partner downstairs such as ‘bring me a bottle / calpol etc’!) Both units tell you the temperature in babies room; You can record the time of last feed on parent unit so that you know when you last went in; Vibrating option if you don’t want sound on and also noise activated lights so you can tell at a glance if there’s any action! The Tomy careline are also fantastic – I have had a couple of replacement bits and bobs (my own fault as we didn’t pack it properly when travellng so it got damaged!) all free of charge and sent out very quickly. They’re good with queries too! I can’t comment on sensor pads but would say that maybe they would cause more panic than they resolve, and what happens if the baby wriggles to other end of cot? Hope this helps. Good luck! Sarah xxx Reply Anonymous: May 17, 2012 at 1:02 am Where can I find a baby monitor reviews online? Reply April H: May 28, 2012 at 7:41 pm Based on your actual experience, what is the best baby video monitor for sale? I’ve heard so many different, mixed reviews. I’m mostly concerned about them not working with our wireless network (which I don’t know how to tweak). If anyone has a good one that works well with a wireless network that doesn’t cost TONS of money, please pass on the info.
  • 6. Thanks! Reply Natalia D: May 29, 2012 at 4:29 am What do you mean working with wireless network? Most baby monitors are wireless, but they don’t connect to a modem. Do you just mean without a cord or actually hooked up to a computer? I have been using Summer Infant Hand Held Video baby monitor for 6 month now and can’t complain. It sees at night and has color. The monitor is hand held so you can carry it with you where you want to. At first the battery would last 3-4 days now it lasts 2 days, then you have to recharge, but it can be on when charging. I got mine on eBay at half the cost. If you still don’t have your baby and don’t need one ASAP. Start looking for deals. I got ours 2 month before the baby was born but it took me 4 weeks to get the deal I wanted. I’m also using a wireless connection on my laptop and there is no interference with the monitor, it’s working perfectly fine. Also it does NOT pick up cell phones, radios or other babies. Any suggestions for a decent one for under 100? The reviews I’ve read in the $50 range haven’t been great but any suggestions would be helpful. I was looking at just a traditional monitor. I would like to spend under $50. Its hard to go by alot of reviews online because most people live in subdivisions with alot of activity.. I dont. I live in the boonies hah.. so maybe interference wouldnt be as bad.. Reply Alexa's Mom: May 31, 2012 at 4:39 pm I have the Graco Ultra Clear II Monitor with Nightlight. It was about $29 and I’ve been using it for 10 months with minimal problems. It gets really good reviews considering it’s priced so low. Once or twice I have gotten a little static sound from it but it went away quickly and only came from the part I keep downstairs (basically the part that is upstairs with the sleeping baby has never had that problem). I do a lot of product research before I buy and it seems when it comes to non-video monitors even the pricey ones have problems.
