4. 1. Conservation and forest restoration at protected areas
• Forest monitoring data of the core zones of protected áreas of 180,791 Ha
• Reforestation with native species, mixed plantations and forest incentives,
involving 449 families and 209 Ha in 49 communities

5. 2. Value chains for income generation: Cocoa, Honey, Mayan Nut
• Capacity building, fermentation and drying, for cocoa production, involving 191 farmers
and a total of 459 Ha of Cocoa Biodiverse Agrosystem
• Maya-nut, sustainable forest management, Processing, drying and selling. 765 ha of
sustainable forest management
• Sustainable beekeeping: Farmer field schools with 300 families and 2,300 beehives.
Honey and byproducts of harvest 2016 and 2017 was sold to local industry

• Working capital as a revolving fund that will lead to a Guarantee fund in Guatemalans
cooperative for processing cocoa beans and mayan nut.
