3. The COVID-19 outbreak has turned out to be a global
health emergency. To contain the spread of this virus,
decisions such as isolation, social distancing and
quarantine were made by almost all countries around
the world. This suddenly forced face-to-face education to
a halt and schools shifted to distance learning to ensure
that learners are not completely disconnected from
educational processes.

The proponent who is a Grade 6 adviser and the school
ICT coordinator has made observations on the possible
hazard of having parents sign the attendance form every
time they receive and return the modules of their
children. The attendance form is necessary in tracking if
parents are able to get and return the modules every
week.
5. Situation & Rationale:
This project promotes the use of QR Code in collecting
attendance of parents during the distribution and
retrieval of modules. There will be no touching of objects
that may cause the spread of the virus.
