Scott Delaney, CEO of Jubilant Cadista, joined the
company in 2009. Prior to his time at Jubilant Cadista,
he spent over 19 years in the pharmaceutical industry
working for companies such as Eli Lilly and Company,
Johnson & Johnson, HEB Grocery Company and Teva
Pharmaceuticals. He holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from
Baylor University and an M.B.A. from University of
Texas at Austin.
Smith Yewell, CEO of Welocalize, co-founded the
company with his wife Julia in 1997. Prior to starting
the company, he served in the US Army as a Field
ArtilleryOfficerandreceivedtheBronzeStarforservice
in Operation Desert Storm during the first Persian
Gulf War. Smith holds a B.A. in English from Tulane
University. Currently he serves on the advisory boards
of The Rosetta Foundation, The Aslan Foundation and
Color Me A Cure Foundation.
Stephanie Hill, President of Information Systems
& Global Solutions at Lockheed Martin, joined the
company in 1987 as a software engineer. She received
her B.S. in both Computer Science and Economics
from UMBC. She serves as a member of UMBC’s
Board of Visitors, the Greater Baltimore Committee,
the Maryland Business Roundtable, and the RTCA
NextGen Advisory Committee.
Wade Watson, Vice President of Operations
for Volvo Powertrain, joined Volvo in 2001. He is
responsible for Volvo’s North American Operations,
producing diesel engines and transmissions forVolvo’s
bus, coach and truck brands. He is a key member
of the executive team that transformed Volvo’s
Hagerstown Development and Production Center
into a world class operation. Wade is a Board Member
for the Washington County Economic Development
Commission and member of the Greater Hagerstown
Committee.

Manish Kothari
United States Senator Barbara Mikulski rose
from being a community organizer to become the
longest-serving woman in Congress. In 2017 when
she retires, she will have served more than 3 decades
in the Senate playing key international roles on the
Committees on Intelligence, Defense, State and
Foreign Operations. She graduated from Mount
St. Agnes College and earned a master’s degree in
social work from the University of Maryland.
Jenny Regan, CEO of Key Tech, co-founded the
technology development firm in 1998. Regan holds
a B.S. in Physics from Georgetown University and a
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Catholic
University of America. She is active on the boards
of Baltimore’s Emerging Technology Centers, the
Regional Manufacturing Institute of Maryland and
the University of Maryland’s Clark School’s Women
in Engineering.
Manish Kothari, President and CEO of Sheladia
Associates Inc., is an experienced engineer with
over 19 years of experience. He is a member of the
Design Professional Coalition, American Council of
Engineering Companies, the American Society of
Civil Engineers and the Society of American Military
Engineers. He holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from
Mangalore University, India and a M.S. in Civil
Engineering from the University of Michigan.
Capt. Eric Nielsen, President of the Association
of Maryland Pilots, joined the Association in 1989.
Following his five-year training, he was licensed
by Maryland to pilot the world’s largest ships and
became a senior member in the association. Prior
to beginning his career as a Maryland Pilot, Captain
Nielsen sailed with the Exxon tanker fleet after
graduating as valedictorian in 1981 from the United
States Merchant Marine Academy.

4. The Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development’s Office
of International Investment and Trade (OIIT) raises the State’s global profile
through foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction efforts aimed at foreign
companies within targeted industries, and by providing export development
assistance to Maryland firms prepared to increase their sales in foreign
markets.To offset the expenses associated with international marketing efforts,
Maryland companies are encouraged to participate in the Export MD program
that provides matching grants that are capped at $5,000 as well as up to 40
hours of market research and consulting from OIIT’s overseas offices.
