The MicroMedic is a backpack that contains medical supplies funded by the Foundation for Global Access to Healthcare to provide quality healthcare in third-world countries. The MicroMedic contains vaccines for malaria and tuberculosis, supplies for antenatal care for 100 people, and first responder injury care kits. It costs $5,500 and is part of the MicroMedic Project. The Foundation also has a nursing education program where military medics can receive an Associate's Degree in Nursing and are then required to provide 8 months of service using a MicroMedic.
