“I will talk about our journey from a traditional web stack to Scala on both client and server side. I will walk through some requirements of our products, the background of our team, how we grow the team and the code base and some of the lessons we learnt along the way. This talk will not require extensive understanding of Scala so anyone with some technical background are welcome!”
Bio: Cuong Pham is an engineering lead at Anduin Transactions. His day-to-day work involves modeling complex financial transaction processes into Scala code. Prior Anduin, Cuong designed systems, wrote code and papers for Armored Computing (a tiny start-up), IBM research, Synopsis, and his PhD advisors.
