3. The majority of people think the price is right for my music magazine. My audience survey showed that people felt my magazine was mainly aimed at a 15+ age group Which I thought was accurate with the type of language and the type of audience I was aiming for.
4. The main features that interests my audience about my magazine are photography and layout. I found that there was interest in different areas of my magazine but feel the photography and layout sets out the groundwork for a magazine. If the picture doesn’t interest a reader and they don’t like the layout the instant eye-catching aspect that is so important in sales is lost.
5. The majority of people I surveyed easily recognised that my magazine audience of Metal fans, they all recognised it as being a magazine for fans of hard aggressive rock. This was the audience I had aimed for and had tried to achieve with my design, I spent a lot of time researching magazines of that genre and looking for inspiration for my own design. Most of the people I asked said they would rate my magazine 8/10 with all rating it 8/10 or above.
6. My target audience said they thought my magazine could be sold in a variety of places with the majority saying newsagents and high street stores.
7. When asked if they had to change anything about my magazine the main feature I found my target audience would change was the price of my magazine.
