Description: A joint project of Thiagarajar College of Engineering and Centre of Sustainable Energy of Australian National University,
Canberra, Australia.
Objective: The project involved obtaining of distilled water by treating effluent water by analysing the effects of various materials
of different thermal conductivity. The results proved that an increase in efficiency can be achieved by 35 – 40%.
