POLARITY • For AC o/p, Electrode can be either –ve or +ve and same applies to work piece also. • But in case of DC o/p, the condition changes. • DC Straight polarity Electrode (-) and Work piece (+). Generally used in TIG welding • DC Reverse polarity Electrode (+) and Work piece (-). Generally used in ARC welding.
