Wim Hof, “The Iceman” has broken a number of records related
to cold exposure. His feats include climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in
shorts, running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle on his
bare feet, and standing in a container while covered with ice
cubes for more than 112 minutes. Wim is convinced that
everyone can tap into this potential.
W H A T I S P O S S I B L E ?
In an experiment, practitioners of the Wim Hof Method were
able to control their sympathetic nervous system and their
immune response while they were injected with an endotoxin.
Trained participants showed fewer symptoms and increased
levels of plasma epinephrine.

of our goals for the future. Through practicing
emotional intelligence we light up the creative center
of the brain, also known as the right brain and we
demonstrate greater empathy and understanding for
others.

Mindfulness helps deal with stress in the present
moment. In it you are directing your focus which lights
up a small part of the brain (the Prefrontal cortex.)
Over time this can improve your clarity and focus.

M E D I T A T I O N
Meditation gives the body deep, healing rest to get rid
of stress from the past. The technique is one of
surrender which lights up the whole brain, but not as
brightly as mindfulness. Over time, meditation
strengthens the corpus callosum.
This is known as synchronous
processing and is what we
experience in flow state or a
Unified Mind.
