• I work in a restaurant and they do high quality
precision cooked food. They have vegetarian
options and I would be able to take photos of
them as they are being created. All the things
on the menu are the chefs own interpretation
of the dish. The theme would be the high
quality of the food.

What do you like about the idea?
I like instead of taking the photos from a photo library off the internet, he would
actually take the pictures himself.
The food is also the chefs own ideas and recipes so they are unique, new and
unseen things, which could potentially grab peoples attention.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
It doesn’t say anything about fonts or theme colours that would be used?
It is hard to get a real indication of what his idea would look like, food wise.
So, maybe a picture could help?
What do you find interesting about the idea?
I find the fact that he would be taking his own pictures of all the foods as they
were made quite interesting. I could go either way. It could go really well and he’d
be able to get really nice pictures, or it could go really wrong due to not being
able to get the right lighting and texture out of the food that has been made.

• I could get my mum to cook lots of home
cooked dishes using Quorn. I could then take
pictures of the meals. The theme would be
home cooked meals and because they would
be cooked by the same person they would
have a similar theme.

What do you like about the idea?
I like that all the meals will have the same theme behind theme of been
Quorn products and also cooked at home by the same cook.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
I think that it is quite a big ask if he thinks that his mum is going to make up
loads of different meals for him just for some pictures. It will cost money and
take quite a while to produce these meals. So, how would this be done? Over
the course of a few days?
Once again, there is no fonts and theme colours for the idea which could have
been mentioned.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
Once again, it could go one way or another. If his mum agrees to cook all
these meals then that’s good and I may work, if not, then what is he going to
do?
6. Idea 3
• Easter themed deserts. I could find pictures
online and find the exact recipes. They could
be biscuits for children that have the Easter
rabbit on. And it could be chocolate brownies
with mini eggs in. It will stick to chocolate
based deserts.

What do you like about the idea?
I like how he has now got a proper theme behind this idea, which is ‘Easter’.
He has now given specific foods that he would like to produce and make
recipe cards for too.
Pictures of the products he wants to produce have also been added.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
He still is not adding anything about the fonts and different colours that could
be used on the recipe card.
He mentions that the audience is children but he could develop on this by
saying what age? What gender?

I find the foods that could be made quite interesting. I would like to see how
the chocolate brownies would taste with the crème eggs in it?

• I could do pasta based recipes and the theme
would be them all having pasta in. The idea
would be that you would find out a few
different meat free sauces and then add them
to a different type of pasta each time.

What do you like about the idea?
I like the theme of idea 4. it is all pasta based dishes, and we all know
everyone loves pasta, and it is also vegetarian.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
He says that he will find different sauces without meat and add them to
different pastas. There is not much exciting about that so I think it could be
developed in some way.
He doesn’t mention who the target audience is and what age range it is
aimed at.
What do you find interesting about the idea?
I’d like to see how he would make lots of different recipes out of
these, because there isn’t a whole lot of different kinds of pastas to choose
from. Five at the most.

• One idea could be vegetarian snack foods.
Things that are quick and easy to whip up.
Although have some style to them. Not
cheese on toast but a quick easy salad
dressing that can go with most vegetables.
Another thing could be soups or some kind of
battered cheese fritters. The theme will be
quick easy snacks.

What do you like about the idea?
I like how the idea is quick and easy foods, which can be made quickly with
ease, but with an added twist in a way.
What areas of the idea could be developed?
Maybe he could talk about the different ways he would spice the foods up.
The foods aren’t really things that you would make. They are more things that
you buy straight up, such as the bread in the picture and the nachos.

I would find it interesting to see how he would spice up the foods, but also to
see what theme and fonts he would choose for his recipe card.
I would also find it interesting to know what audience these foods would be
targeted at.
