Texas School Technology and Readiness Chart- STaR<br />The Texas StaR chart is an online resource tool for self-assessment of GISD and Annie Purl’s efforts to effectively integrate technology across the curriculum. <br />It is aligned with the Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology, 2006-2020.<br />

The Texas Long-Range Plan for Technology 2006-2020<br />Goal is to promote academic excellence for all students.<br />Looks at 4 main areas:<br /> 1. Students must be technology literate by the end of the 8th grade. <br />To increase technology-based accountability through targeted planning and budgeting. <br />
