Feature overview • Greater Control Over Branding - Different web store channels have their own domain names and it is natural to expect separate email domains for email communication. Allow better branding control through configurable ‘From’ email address for multi-channel merchants. • In-built email templates - Pre-installed standard email templates for every stage of the shopping cycle that can be modified to reflect your brand experience. Any fresh promotions can be added in these email templates to attract the shopper. • Easily Customizable - Customize your email templates without editing the templates directly in the file system. Alter their layout and include special variables in them to insert customer names, order details etc.

SMTP Server Setup • Ensure outgoing email delivery - SMTP services are used by various modules and ensure that outgoing emails are sent to, and reach the desired audience. • Two fold delivery method - Network: Emails are sent using network mail delivery through the specified SMTPRemoteHost/ SMTPRemotePort. Pickup Directory from IIS: Emails are written to the default local IIS pickup directory.

You may normally find this out from you ISP or web host. • Port: This is the SMTP port of your mail server. This is usually 25. • Authorization Required: Specify whether SMTP requires authorization or not. • Enable SSL: Check to use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to encrypt the SMTP connection. • Outgoing Mail Server: Mention fully qualified name of your outgoing mail server. If you are using local IIS then ‘localhost’ value can be used. SMTP Server Setup Parameters

Configure Email Templates Configurable ‘From’ email address Manager Panel ships with large number of customizable email templates to suit your business needs. Multi-channel support- Set different email templates for various channels and reflect their brand. Configurable ‘From’ Email address for various emails sent to shoppers via the Manager Panel and the Web Store. Over 50 out-of-box email templates Email variables Insert pre-defined email variables into email subject and email body while customizing the email template.

All rights reserved. ‘From’ Email Address for emails sent from Web Store • ‘From’ email hierarchy - ‘From’ Email hierarchy has been defined to populate the ‘From’ email address in various emails sent from various channels. The ‘From’ email can be configured for a specific channel, or for each template at the customer class level, or within the email template master setup. • ‘From’ email population - ‘From’ Email if defined in channel setup, takes highest precedence. If ‘From’ email is not defined in channel setup, but defined in customer class email preference, it is populated using ‘From’ email address defined for that customer class. If ‘From’ email is neither defined in channel setup nor in customer class email preference, it is populated using ‘From’ email address defined in the email template master. ‘From’ email in channel setup ‘From’ email in customer class email preference ‘From’ email in email template master

All rights reserved. ‘From’ Email Address for emails sent from Manager Panel • ‘From’ email hierarchy - ‘From’ email hierarchy has also been defined to populate ‘From’ email hierarchy for emails sent from the Manager Panel. • ‘From’ email population - The ‘From’ Email address can be defaulted to a sales representative’s email address present in the user security module. Customer class email preference (or email template master as applicable) allows you to specify which email templates should use the logged in CSR’s email address vs. a centralized email address. Annexure: Email Templates Sr. No Module Email When is the email sent? 1 Customer Account CC Expire Notification Whenever the customer’s credit card expires and the same customer has future transactions. 2 Customer Account CIM CC Failure email When the system is not able to save credit card details on CIM. 3 Customer Account Customer - Customer Delete Notification When a customer account is deleted. 4 Customer Account Customer – Download Expiry Alert When any existing download is about to expire. 5 Customer Account Manager – Add Customers When a new customer is added from the Manager Panel. 6 Customer Account Manager – Approve Registration When a new customer account is approved by the Store Manager. 7 Customer Account Manager - Forgot Password When a customer forgets his/her password and requests to send username and password via email to his/her registered email address.

Annexure: Email Templates Sr. No Module Email When is the email sent? 8 Customer Account Manager - Reset Password When the Store Manager resets password for any customer account. 9 Customer Account Manager – SubUser – Reset Password When the Store Manager resets password for any sub-customer account. 10 Customer Account My Account – Change Login Name When the login name of any customer is changed from ‘My Account’ of the Web Store from the Manager Panel. 11 Customer Account My Account – Change Password When the password of any customer is changed from ‘My Account’ of the Web Store. 12 Customer Account My Account – Edit Sub User When a sub-customer record is updated from the Web Store. 13 Customer Account My Account - Registration When a new customer is registered from the Web Store. 14 Customer Account My Account – Send Wishlist When a wish-list is sent from the Web Store.

Sr. No Module Email When is the email sent? 15 Customer Account My Account – Sub User Creation When a new sub-customer record is created from Web Store. 16 Customer Account Store – Abandoned Cart When a customer leaves the shopping cart abandoned. 17 Customer Account Store – Sent To Friend When a customer clicks ‘send to friend’ button on We Store for any product, an email screen with ‘To’ email address opens. An email is generated with details of the product. 18 Customer Account Store – Promo Alerts to Customers When customer based discount is setup, an option ‘Send Email’ is displayed to send the discount related details to those customers. 19 Customer Account Store – Notify Me When an out-of-stock item comes in stock, an email is generated to notify customers about the same. 20 Sales Order Order –Auto Shipping Confirmation When the CSR runs pending online shipping confirmation process from the Manager Panel. Sr. No Module Email When is the email sent? 21 Sales Order Order – Cancellation When a sales order is cancelled from the Manager Panel. 22 Sales Order Order - Confirmation When a sales order is placed from the Web Store or from the Manager Panel. 23 Sales Order Order – Credit Card Notification When an order is placed using a credit card from the Web Store or from the Manager Panel. 24 Sales Order Order – Gift Certificate Mail When a gift certificate is purchased, an email is sent to the recipient. 25 Sales Order Order – Item Backorder Notification When a sales order gets backordered due to non- availability of those items. 26 Sales Order Order – Line Item Cancellation When any of the line item on an order is cancelled from the Manager Panel. 27 Sales Order Order – Manual Shipping Confirmation When the Store Manager changes status of any order to ‘Shipped’ from the Manager Panel. Sr. No Module Email When is the email sent? 28 Sales Order Order – Put On Hold When an order goes on hold status. 29 Sales Order Order – Quote Entry When a quote is finalized from the Manager Panel. 30 Sales Order Invoice-credit card notification Whenever the credit card is used to charge the invoice from ‘My Invoices’ of the Web Store. 31 Return Order Return Order – Receipt When a return order is received by the Store Manager. 32 Return Order Return – Order Confirmation When a return order is placed from the Web Store or from the Manager Panel. 33 Return Order Return – Refund Notification When a refund is made to the customer’s credit card. 34 Merchant Notification Request Approval When a customer registers and does not get auto- approved, a notification is sent to the Store Manager. 35 Merchant Notification Order – Online Charge Failure Notification When an invoice gets charged via pending online settlement screen and it fails. Sr. No Module Email When is the email sent? 36 Sales Order Gift Certificate Redemption mail Whenever a gift certificate is redeemed at the Web Store, an email is sent to the gift certificate recipient. 37 Sales Order Write in SKU Conversion Whenever a dummy SKU is converted to a real time SKU, an email is sent to the shopper. 38 Quote Conversion Whenever a quote is converted to an actual order, an email is sent to the shopper.
