dunya, for verily your station will be at the last
verse that you recite‟‟

4. “Do not wish to be the like of except two men. A
man whom Allah has given the knowledge of the
Book and he recites it during the hours of the
night, and a man whom Allah has given wealth,
and he spends it in charity during the night and the
hours of the day.” [Bukhaaree No. 4691]
The Prophet (peace be upon him) was so eager to
recite Qur‟aan, he even did so while riding his
camel!
5. „Whosever completes the Qur‟aan once a month,
has indeed abandoned it!‟
The Qurân was sent down to be acted upon
but people have taken just reciting it as
enough of a deed.

„...so that they may ponder over its ayat and that
those of understanding may remember‟
(Sad, 38:29)
„And we send down the Qur‟aan that which is a

prohibitions.

Abandon pondering, understanding and tafseer of
Qur‟aan.
Abandon using Qur‟aan as a cure (physical/spiritual)
‘..Oh my Lord, indeed my people took this Qur’aan
as something worthy of being abandoned’ (Furqan
25:30)
