Leading Technology and R&D Services Provider Incorporates Pentaho Agile BI and Pentaho
for Hadoop Into Its Large Data Analytics Practice
NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - October 12, 2010) - Hadoop World - Pentaho Corporation, the open
source business intelligence (BI) and data integration leader, today announced a partnership with
Impetus Technologies, an award-winning software product engineering and professional services
company, serving customers ranging from aggressive startups to large technology companies, to
develop innovative software products and solutions. The partnership enables Impetus to be recognized
as a Pentaho Authorized Partner and encourages technical collaboration between the two companies as
Impetus incorporates both the Pentaho Agile BI initiative and Pentaho for Hadoop into its Large Data
Analytics practice.
The partnership coincides with the release of Pentaho for Hadoop, the first complete, end-to-end data
integration and BI Suite for Hadoop.
As part of its high performance computing practice (HPC) area, Impetus works on both large data
management and complex computing problems. The Impetus Large Data Analytics practice offers
expert consulting services and best practices support in Hadoop implementations and other commercial
massively parallel databases, including R&D, assessment, deployment (on private and public clouds)
