New Zealand Police sought the capability to monitor social media communications that could pose a threat
to public safety at one of the biggest sporting events in the world. They worked together with Intergen, three-
time New Zealand Microsoft Partner of the Year, to develop and deploy a social media monitoring tool for the
tournament’s six week duration. New Zealand Police continue to assist with Signal’s development to ensure
it meets on-going requirements.
