3. First things first, login.

4. The page will look something like

6. Once you’re logged in the dashboard
will look like this…

8. 1. How to publish a blog post
Go to posts and click add new

10. Now you have to write the post
Shakespeare. Oh and give it a title, a
catchy title, a title that would be on the
cover of a magazine.

12. Make sure to tag and categorize your
blog

14. Before you publish you’re probably
going to want to add a picture.

15. 2. Uploading a photo
Put your cursor where you wish the picture to be.
Click Upload/Insert

17. Hit Select Files

19. Select the picture from your computer
you want to use. Insert an appropriate
(or a very inappropriate) title for the
picture as well as Alternative text (text
for Google)

21. If you scroll down you’ll be able to
change the alignment and size of the
picture

23. If you click Insert into post you picture
shall appear.

25. 3. How to embed a video in Wordpress

27. Find your video on YouTube

28. Click share, then embed. You can now
choose the size of video you want.

30. Copy the text from YouTube and paste
it into the HTML page you have open in
Wordpress

32. Now change the screen back to visual
and you should see your video box
appear.

34. Preview changes to see if it’s aligned
properly.

36. 4. Updating a page

37. Select all pages

39. Click edit on the page you wish to edit

41. Now you can edit pages just like you’d
edit a blog post. Add pictures and
videos if you wish.
Always Preview before you publish

43. Now you’re a Wordpress genius! Good
