•Based on a philosophy of peer accountability.


                    THE ETHICS DEPARTMENT AT CCIC

•Pre-crisis: Ethics department at CCIC had 2 full time staff up until 2010
Ethics Review Committee (ERC) created in 1997, dissolved in 2010.


•Current model: Ann Simpson (consultant, as needed), Jack as point person
on staff (about 2 hours per week). ERC mandate absorbed by CCIC
Membership Committee in 2011.
