2. Initial Reaction
• My initial reaction to this project was it would be difficult to create a story that
engages the reader. I feel as though I will find designing the cover of the magazine
much easier than designing the double page spread as I think I will be good at
making a an eye catching cover with a good design and photograph on the front.
• I am still not sure what my magazine is going to be about but I'm thinking I’ll do a
fake interview for my magazine story.

Is there any repetition in the images you have collected? Repeated colours/images
styles/fonts/tone/mood
• The font used for the magazine covers is very blocky.
• There is a lot of black, white, red and blues.
• The double page spreads use a lot of blacks, whites and yellows.
How will your mood board influence your final product?
• I think I am going to have a phot on the cover very similar to the covers of the GQ
magazines.

cover and double page.
 Any additional things that I think could
be added and changes that could be
made.
5 Evaluation  Write about my product and if it
appeals to the target audience.
