Some examples of emotional effects is aggression,
depressed, and decreased appetite
For most people when they are smoking marijuana
it makes them happy and relaxed. After awhile
depression kicks in and then some of there other
symptoms.

Marijuana is a mind altering drug.
It is the most popular drug used in the U.S.
There are many street names for the drug some
examples include Mary Jane, pot, weed and grass.
It can be taken in a variety of different ways it can
be smoked or baked into other foods.
It can lead to long term problems such as
respiratory problems, and an increased risk of lung
cancer

financial aid because a prior conviction.
13% of illegal drug users are African Americans, but
they make up 67% of those sent to prison.
Taxpayers lose more than 50 billion dollars each
year to the drug war
With all the inmates in federal prisons 55% of
inmates are there because of drug offenses

The possession of more than 30 g is considered a
misdemeanor the first time. It is punishable for up
to 1 year in jail and a $5,000 fine.
The sale of less than 1,000 pounds is considered a
felony and punishable from 1-3 years in prison. And
the fine can be anywhere from $5,000-$25,000
The sale of 1,000 pounds is considered a felony and
is punishable for 10 years in prison. And your fine is
$100,000.

10. My ideas/ Suggestions
One thing I think we should do is to start cracking
down on drug dealers and users more.
We can make the punishment and fines more
severe so maybe people will think more and not do
it as often thinking that they will get caught.
Start requiring drug test for all jobs so people will
not be able to do it if they plan on getting a job.
I foremost think that we should keep it illegal.

Actions
Crack down more on know and suspected drug
dealers. This will help the movement and use of
marijuana.
Arrest people on the spot for possessing or selling
any amount of marijuana. This will scare people
and they will think more about selling.
Disguise cops as drug dealers to try and get people
to purchase from them and then book them.
Post rewards for people to turn drug dealers in. This
will help people financially and it will help to keep
drug dealers business down.
