  2. 2. 3. 3. Northfield Mount Hermon Star Joins Penn State Basketball Team Penn State University's men's basketball team recently announced the addition of five new recruits to its class of 2023, one of whom is an alumnus of Northfield Mount Hermon. Max Lorca-Lloyd, who was ranked as the No. 40 best power forward recruit in the US by ESPN, will join fellow Northfield Mount Hermon alumnus AJ Brodeur at the Big 10 school in the fall. The other four recruits are Jonah Charles, Jordan Dingle, Lucas Monroe, and Max Martz.
  4. 4. Northfield Mount Hermon Star Joins Penn State Basketball Team Lorca-Lloyd is the most highly-touted of the group. He had offers from other major schools including Harvard and Ohio State, but opted to join a program that has been welcoming to Northfield Mount Hermon players in recent years. Along with Brodeur, who averaged 17.6 points per game as a junior last season, Penn State graduates Collin McManus and Jackson Donahue also played for the Massachusetts prep school. Lorca-Lloyd is expected to compete for significant playing time in the 2019-20 season in the wake of Max Rothschild's departure.
