Ideas
I have decided to create
an Indie music video by
The Vaccines called
‘Wreckin Bar’. It is a short
song yet will feature a
series of quick cuts making
it fun and upbeat.
I have gained inspiration from Alt J’s
music video called ‘Matilda’ as it features
several close ups of the performers which
is similar to what I want to do.
Also Example’s video ‘Kickstarts’ features
the same style as the above one, meaning,
by watching these I can gain ideas for my own
video.
I will upload my video onto
Premier Pro, this means I can
make a few cuts and add to the
fast tempo of the music video.
I also looked at previous students work
from the year above. Many of them
have also done Indie music videos and
are very helpful to me. I have then
brainstormed about what I want to do.
Many Indie videos
look the same so I
want mine to look
different. Therefore I
have got to make
mine look ‘Indie’.
