2.  Today, no one disputes the importance of the media in
today's society. We are immersed in a media society and
our way of life coexists with messages that transmit media.
In the same way, speaking of media implies cover a very
wide range of possibilities: many TV channels, radio,
Internet, print publications of all kinds.

3.  The mass media are a very important
instrument of socialization influence our
ideas, habits and customs. Some experts
even assume that the amount of
information reported by the press,
magazines, films, television and radio,
greatly exceeds the volume of information
that comes through teaching and the
content to be transmitted school. If true
this fact, become the media in a very
powerful educational tool, with the
advantages and disadvantages that
implies.

4.  First, let's analyze the incorporation of media to the school
curriculum. We can see that the media have become
indispensable in an educational process, as part of the
teaching material often used in the classroom. Perhaps
Internet is the medium that has built more quickly to
education, but the rest appear frequently in curriculum
proposals.

5.  Although most innovations in education are relate to the
implementation of the Technology Communication and
Information in school, experts in the field say that the
addition of the media to compulsory school curriculum is
purely testimonial and when touch is from a descriptive
perspective: how they work, that area have, newspaper
records.
