Introduction
Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd specializes in the service, maintenance and
repairs to all industrial and commercial roller doors, roller shutters, glass and
aluminium swing doors, boom gates, automatic gates and vehicle barriers.
Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd was established in 2006 and in a short period of
time we have grown from a single service vehicle to three (3) service vehicles and a
staff of ten (10).
We are an independent company, not an agency, and that means that we can source
all available parts from any manufacturer and we will only recommend the very best
products for your sites requirements.
Our staff are fully trained in all of the listed equipment above and follow strict
Health and Safety procedures. In most cases a service crew will consist of two (2)
technicians when working on your equipment to ensure a safe working environment
is maintained for all.
We guarantee a same day emergency service and will endeavour to have your
equipment back working if possible, however if our technicians are unable to make
the equipment operational they will notify the contact on site and explain thoroughly
what will be required, paperwork detailing the work carried out and required work will
be left on site as well as being included with your invoice.

A quote for any extra work to bring your equipment back to a safe working condition
will be sent through as quickly as possible, to ensure limited disruption to you or
your clients business.
We have built a strong reputation as a true 24/7 Emergency Service company.
Should you or your clients encounter a problem after hours that requires urgent
attention, your call will be answered and our technicians will notify you of an
expected ETA and will always endeavour to make your building secure and safe.
Our vehicles carry a large range of basic stock (clips, bolts, straps etc) to ensure
we are able to attend and carry out any minor repairs the First Time. This will
reduce any second calls for basic items that should have been installed then
and there. Obviously any major parts (slats, drums, springs etc) will require site
measuring and ordering.

Quoted Work
Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd offers a free quoting service, however please
understand this is not a same day service. If urgent quotes are required please call
us and notify us of your situation.
Once you have accepted our quote, we will order the parts and our service manager
will call you to book in a suitable time for the work to be completed.
With preventative maintenance, once the quote is accepted, we will endeavour
to arrange for the work to be completed within a timely manner. Any extra work
uncovered during this process will be noted on the paperwork left at your premises
and a quote for the required work will follow.
Our staff will carry out the work in a safe and timely manner with each site’s
requirements taken into consideration. We expect all our staff to be respectful of
your sites rules and regulations and to follow any instructions you require to meet
your companies requirements.
It also is our policy to make sure on completion of our work that the site is clean of
all rubbish and it is disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
At Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd we guarantee our workmanship, all repairs come
with a 12 month warranty on our workmanship (related to the work carried out for the
quoted work) and any suppliers warranty for parts replaced.
We also don’t believe in just repairing your product. If we can offer you a more
suitable product that can reduce your ongoing maintenance costs then we will always
include both options for your consideration. That way you can make a decision that is
best for you and your clients.
We also make ourselves available to meet with our customers on site to discuss or
explain in further detail our quotes or recommendations.

Why are two (2) technicians required to repair
a roller door when our opposition only send one?
Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd will in most cases always send two (2) Technicians.
We value the safety of our staff as well as respect your sites obligations to provide a
safe working environment.
As you can imagine when working on damaged equipment of the sizes we come
across with industrial and commercial doors and gates, two technicians are required
to carry out the necessary repairs to make the equipment safe and in most cases
get it back up and working as well as restricting movement through the opening while
these repairs are being carried out.
Sending a single man crew to carry out any work on an industrial door that involves
working at heights is just not an option for us and to be honest should not be an
option for any business these days. We will not risk the safety of our staff to save a
few dollars.
Each service vehicle has it's own scissor-lift which provides another level of safety
when working at heights, as well as being able to hire at short notice forklifts and
knuckle booms if a site has a specific requirement.
Our staff have the necessary operators tickets and construction cards and are able
to present these before any work is commenced if required.
Before starting any work our staff will complete our Job Safety Analysis and will each
sign off on it only after careful consideration to how they are going to complete the
work in a safe manor. A copy of this can be left on site or included with the invoice
for your records.

Documentation
& Invoicing
At Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd we understand the
importance of accurate documentation.
Our electronic work sheets have all the necessary
information on them to give you an accurate
description of the problem our technicians found upon
arrival, a description of all work carried out, a list of
parts used and a report of the importance of any extra
work which may be required.
A JSA/5 Steps to Safety form will also be filled out and
attached to paperwork left on site and included with
your invoice. We understand we have a responsibility to
supply you our client with documentation that not only
explains the condition of your door and work carried
out but that it was done in a safe manor according to
all Occupational Health & Safety Acts and Codes of
Practice.
We also understand the frustration clients have when
they receive an invoice and the only amount listed is a
total figure.

This door had never been serviced, therefore allowing
the metal slats to cut through the main support bracket
posing a serious OH&S risk.
Result: The entire roller shutter had to be replaced
If this door had been serviced: The slats would have
been realigned & grease applied, reducing any wear on
the brackets
This door had caught on a damaged slat, therefore
causing the curtain to catch & dislodge from the guides.
Result: 15 slats had to be replaced and the door was
left shut for 5 working days until the new slats were
manufactured, powder coated and installed
If this door had been serviced: The slats could have
been replaced and the door would have continued it’s
normal operation
