traditional order fulfillment has been happening for several years now and sales person who accompanies
the Van or Truck will handle the process of submitting the invoice to the Distributor / Dealer / Retailer, take
new orders and provide information about new products introduction or anypromotions currently running
on particular products etc. Most of these activities are done offline with some of the functions like new
order taking or generating invoice on the fly using miniature point of sale systems
The prime disadvantage behind using these miniature POS systems is that all transactions are done offline
and data needs to be synchronized on a regular basis with the backend transactional systems. This gave the

specific date. It can also be integrated with an
existing CRM or ERP system to pull the list onto
the mobile app. The products list in uploaded
Van inventory can then be scanned using bar
codes or RFID while loading onto a vehicle thus
reducing error and ensuring that the correct
product is on the right round to avoid any
discrepancies at a later date.
The backend interface allows an admin user at
the office to configure field sales routines during
the day using the built-in scheduler. The admin
user can also manage ongoing return visits and
