  1. 1. Anarchist law is a set of standards for conduct and decision-making that apply within anarchist communities. The question of whether and how norms of individual and/or collective behavior and decision-making should be established and upheld is one of many ongoing discussions within the various branches of anarchist theory that the term refers to. Many anarchists believe that "anarchist law" merely refers to natural law, but others believe that anarchist law would have additional, distinctive components. Different ideas of "anarchist law" have been produced, discussed, or used in practice by anarchist networks like Peoples' Global Action or Indymedia over the course of the last 200 years as anarchism has expanded and evolved to include various strains.
