  2. SUMMARY  The magazine will be about all the different festivals in Hertfordshire  It will include articles which will have interviews and reviews  Discussion on the acts and costs of going to a festival  Also what else will be available in the festivals
  3. PURPOSE  The purpose is to inform and promote  It will inform by telling people about the festivals Hertfordshire has to offer  It will also inform readers about the history and where they are now  For promotion it will help get recognition for these festivals  So the overall purpose is to help get the festivals seen
  4. COMPETITION  There is no completely direct competition for the magazine  However there is some competition through the magazine ‘Hertfordshire life’  Another example of competition would be ‘Festworld’
  5. FORM AND GENRE  The magazine will be 18-35 pages long containing images and information  The pages will be A4 in size  It will be released twice a year, once at the start and the other midway through
  6. CONTENT • It will have interviews of people who have previously been to the festival • It will have articles with reviews on the festivals • The colour scheme of it will be bright and summery • The title is ‘Herts Festivals’ and will be in the font calibri
  7. TARGET AUDIENCE  The target audience will be people aged 20-40, all ethnicities, races and disabilities  It will mainly target music lovers but its not always all about the music
  8. MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION  I would attempt to get the festival companies to help promote it  Social media would be big as I would be able to reach a lot more people  Advertisements would be another way of marketing the magazine  It will be in shops in the local area
  9. RESOURCES AND PERSONNEL  Resources needed will be a computer, mouse and keyboard, camera and a SD card  Apps will include Photoshop, InDesign and illustrator  Personnel will include a graphic designer, a writer, a fact checker and an editor.
  10. PRODUCTION COMPANY  It will be in house  I will contact advertisers and the festivals myself  I will source the personnel myself
  11. BUDGET  Items included in the budget:  Personnel (Editor, writer, graphic designer and ect)  Production of the magazine  Materials used for the magazine
  12. CONCLUSION  It meets the client requirements and links to the brief  It provides a great amount of information for the consumer
