This document summarizes a student's print media project creating an alternative magazine called "ROARage". The magazine was aimed at alternative teenagers and young adults, featuring a mix of genres including heavy metal, hard rock, and emo styles. Key elements included a rebellious font and color scheme similar to the magazine Kerrang!, realistic stories and interviews, and photos styled to represent the target audience. Feedback was positive, though some initial elements like picture editing and front cover design were improved upon for the final product. The project showed understanding of representing an alternative social group and attracting their target readership.
