I was introduced to Jodie when she came for work experience in my Year 3 class, however
other members of staff who have known her for many years and recommended her to me.
I have found her to be conscientious to a very professional standard, always ready to help out
in any way, honest, hard working and kind.
The children looked forward to her coming into class where she has excellent relationships with
them all and holds their trust. She has a gentle sense of humour that both the children and I
enjoy. She supported the children’s learning in Maths and English often leading a group of the
most challenging children where she is patient, paced and clear which was particularly useful as
some of these children have English as a second language. She carried out instructions and
assessed the children’s needs as the session progressed and adapted her help to suit them,
reporting back in a professional, caring manner.
I am delighted to be able to recommend this gentle, hard-working young lady to anything she
would like to do as she has shown herself to be self-motivated, diligent, intelligent and willing.
