Viewers for traditional broadcasters acquire audiences through
terrestrial antennas, cable, satellite, or on the web with live streams.
All of those combined are a large audience, but none of those combined
come close to being able to talk to the world, live, via Facebook and
Twitter.

4. At the core of a good journalist is the ability to storytell, usually via the
written word or a video package, but the emergence of live-streaming
through social media has helped transform how stories are told. Further,
everyday citizens are going Live to share their perspective and help
journalists discover untold stories.
We’ll discuss the state of the live-streaming union, how it has changed our
perspective of covering stories, what it has done collectively for journalism,
and where it will go next. We’ll also provide best practices for “going Live”
and answer your questions.

5. What are the most impactful (not necessarily the best performing) "live" that
have been done and why? What learnings can we take away from them?
How can Live evolve and get integrated into TV broadcasts? Could we see FB
Lives being the default "camera" that is broadcast on a linear newscast?
Some news professionals worry that going live is giving away free content
otherwise monetizable on TV or the web. How can their concerns be assuaged?
Aside from the “news” aspect, how can journalists use Live for the lighter side:
showing their personality and (dare we say) have fun?
