  1. 1. A WATERFRONT MEDIA AND CONSERVATION CAMPAIGN JULY 22 - AUGUST 27 2016 F A N T A S M A C H I C A G O . C O M FANTASMAGORIE
  2. 2. OVERVIEW Performances feature choreography by Jessica Deahr, Artistic Director of Dance Crash Chicago, with soundtrack by composer Arlen Hart, and film production by award-winning Richter Studios showcasing field research footage from The Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium. Co-Presented by Chicago Park District, Fantasmagorie is a free, 3-month arts, media, culture and conservation benefit campaign appearing on urban waterfronts, debuting in the summer of 2016 on Chicago’s Lincoln Park Rowing Lagoon. The campaign takes audiences on a migratory journey from the Great Lakes watershed to the Coral Reefs and into the Amazon through the projection mapping of an original, hour length IMAX feature film, accompanied by live dance appearing on the water. The World Wildlife Fund joins Fantasmagorie as our featured conservation beneficiary, heightening levels of environmental stewardship through public arts and culture. A strategic partnership between Chicago Park District, Lincoln Park Boat Club, The Field Museum of Natural History, John G. Shedd Aquarium and Curmudgeon Group extends into neighborhoods with film screenings, exhibitions, and workshops for low-income youth. LOCATION Fantasmagorie occurs on the water at Chicago's historic Lincoln Park Rowing Lagoon. Performances include free audience seating along the grassy waterfront just steps from the Lincoln Park Zoo and the beaches of Lake Michigan.
