Greetings Fellow Javelinas:
Since opening our doors 90 years ago, Javelina Nation has grown significantly in enrollment and academic programs. As the
first-ever institution of higher learning in South Texas, we have graduated tens of thousands of students. It is important for
all alumni to know that each and every one of us has a role to play in Javelina Nation. Today, our faculty and students develop
cutting-edge research; together we can make a lasting impact on the world.
It’s a strong sense of community that keeps us focused on our mission at the Javelina Alumni Association. We want to continue
serving the people who make our institution great by offering alumni programs and institutional support not through mem-
bership dues, but by sharing and expanding the Javelina Nation.
Now that you are an active member of the Javelina Alumni Association at no cost, we are asking you to join with us and share
your Javelina Pride - the same way our pioneers shared in the ideals of higher education more than 90 years ago!
Accept the Challenge!
You are part of Javelina Nation and we welcome all graduates and supporters to take advantage of the programs and services we
offer through the Javelina Alumni Association with our open membership.
Now is your opportunity to GIVE and make an impact – scholarships, departmental programs, research or capital projects. With
a gift of $90 or more, we will send you a Javelina Alumni Association shirt as a token of appreciation. You may also honor your
class year (i.e. Class of 2005 = a $20.05 donation) or the year we broke ground at Javelina Nation with a contribution of $19.25. It’s
not the size of the gift that matters most, it’s the number of alumni and friends who accept the challenge and make a gift.
Attend our Alumni Hog
Call events in your nearest
city, or return to campus
for Homecoming or other
campus events.
Donate where you want to make
the most impact – scholarships,
departmental programs, research
or capital projects across
Javelina Nation.
Support Javelina Alumni
Association in our important
mission to provide access and
opportunity to higher learning.
Share with us your
stories, alumni news
and Javelina Pride!
