This document outlines an action plan for improving students' media coursework based on analysis showing grades were lower than expected.  Improve primary research:-
 Video students being interviewed
 Add video to blog
 Revisit your PR1 and PR2
 What could be improved?
 Could more detail be added?
 Could handwritten documents be typed?
 Could you add more graphs/bar charts?
 Could you include more secondary research (real
mags)?
 Does it reflect the actual magazine produced?
 Overall, improve use of technology in your
Planning Reports.

 Revisit your construction task. Could you:-
 Add brush effects
 Improve image manipulation
 Add text effects
 Increase variety of font and colour
 Take more photos/change photo
 Reposition layout
 You don’t need to make major changes
here

 The majority of work is necessary here because
the exam board requirements have increased
 They expect to see technology used more in the
presentation – a simple blog is no longer enough
 The wording of your blog does not need to be
changed significantly (although more detail is
always better)
 You need to change the way you present that
information

 Add Powerpoints (use Slideshare) which answer

 The exam board have suggested that students
use Prezi to answer all 7 questions or at least 1
of them.

actions you are going
 You will then use this to review your progress
weekly

home to the task? Make a decision on this
