About Us
KKD Marine is a new company that begun
commercial operations in march 2017 in
KAKINADA (KKD) to service the project
requirements of existing and new projects
IN KG BASIN.
We will supply, repair and service all your
marine and offshore consumables and
equipment requirements for projects in KG
BASIN region.
Our clients include McDermott Asia Pacific.
Our Parent company Project Sales Corp is a
$1.5million Oilfield Safety Company while
KKD Marine focuses on Marine and Subsea
Installation for supplies and services to
SURF Contractors in the KG Basin region.

Our USP
We are a new set-up and our USP will be a competitive pricing and localised service.
Our focus is only on marine and oil and gas projects in KG BASIN. We will use our
resources to help expedite deliveries of critical materials required to enable early
completion of tasks in large projects.

Why us ?
KKD Marine is started by a team of people that assisted Helix Energy Services with
consumables and equipment supply for the KG-D6 Project that involved installation of
11 suction piles, 28 umbilical, 10 structures, 6 manifolds, 10 trees & 56 rigid jumpers
off the Kakinada coast. Materials over worth $1 million was supplied In one year
sourced from several countries and a dozen locations IN INDIA.
We also worked the HPCL SPM Project with Leighton Contractors and Heerema on
GSPC project. We are currently working with Mc Dermott for supplies and services for
the ONGC Vashishta project. We understand how important deadlines are in a large
project. We will assign a team of people to provide dedicated services round the clock
stationed in Kakinada and Project Site. We will use our expertise to get things done
sooner at competitive prices and meeting quality requirements.

Products & Services
KKD Marine will supply the complete range of consumables, equipment and
services required for a large project in and around Kakinada. From abrasives, iron
and steel, welding equipment to manpower, we will try and become an one-point
source for all your needs.
We can provide re-certification services, equipment overhauls and repairs, welding
services, fabrication, and any other requirements you have with project based
associates with domain expertise in their respective fields.
For instance, Fabrication we have a tie-up with a vendor in Mumbai who does
fabrication for several large offshore projects and oil and gas customers. For NDT
and Welding we have a tie-up with a vendor in Visakhapatnam. For load testing, we
have an associate in Kakinada and Mumbai.

How we work ?
Our key account team takes care of each key customer to ensure the complete cycle of
enquiries to deliveries and payments is all taken care of in a seamless manner. Mails are
responded promptly and phone access is available 24/7 with our 4000 sft office and
warehouse in Kakinada and a dedicated logistics team, materials will be shipped to you from
Kakinada, Visakhapatnam and all sourcing locations in India.

PRODUCT PORTFOLIO

Beam clamps can fit a wide range of flange width and beams, and are used for lifting, pulling, or as
an anchor point.
Beam Clamps
Flat Belts & Round Slings
High strength and low stretch flat belts and round slings are used for conveying, lifting and
positioning applications.

Mooring Ropes
Mooring ropes are used instead of temporary anchors as they have considerably more holding power,
cause less damage to the marine environment, and are convenient. They are also occasionally used
to hold floating docks in place.
Pallet Fork Lifters
Pallet fork lifters features a cushion grip with a 3-position lever and a flow valve for controlled
lowering. Push rods are fixed with no adjustment needed.

PSC Lift Assist Hand Lifting Aids
A new range of PSC hands‐off policy tools (lift assist manual lifting aids) to reduce need for bending
thereby improve ergonomics in workplace, and reduce possible chances of hand & finger injuries
associated with lifting and carrying the small equipment's with bare hands.
Ratcheting Chain Binders
Ratchet chain or ratchet load binder, devices are used for ratcheting action to tension chain and
secure cargo. A ratchet binder consists of a ratchet handle and two tension hooks on each end.

Rigging Accessories
Master rings and load suspension eyes are connectors used between the lifting
hook and the load to be lifted. Master rings are most commonly used on lifting
chain assemblies as the upper link though there are many other industrial
applications which they could be used for. All the connectors in this category are
certified for lifting applications.
Eye bolts are used as a removable attachment point, to secure ropes or cables.
Basic eye bolts consist of a threaded rod with a loop or eye at one end.
Commercial Eye bolts are marked with their thread size not with their working load
limit, so it is important to ensure you select the correct type.
Turnbuckle, stretching screw or bottlescrew is a device for adjusting the tension or
length of ropes, cables, tie rods, and other tensioning systems.

Rope Block Sheaves, Swivels & Sockets
Rope Block Sheaves come in a variety of models, different in
material, size, bearings and sealings, in order to meet your specific
requirements. Apart from these standard sheaves we can offer you a
large range of sheaves in many different sizes and bearings.
Closed Spelter Socket loading mechanisms characterize
themselves as very complex and was researched intensively by
Ropeblock using strain gauge testing and Finite Element research.
The full range of Ropeblock sockets are type approved by DNV GL
and LRS.
Rope Blocks may be used on a wide variety of land based cranes
such as mobile and crawler cranes. The Fast Reeve Blocks are an
excellent choice for your lifting application where frequent block
change is required

Hooks are used in towing, mooring and lifting systems as a connection between slings, rope, wire rope
and chain. ROV type hooks are modified for easy ROV handling during hook up or release.

Hooks are opened remotely by cables and guided by pad eyes on
either side of the hook.
ROV Hooks are used for efficient load handling and attachment for
Remote Operating Vehicles in subsea and other hard to reach
applications.

ROV HOOKS
Nautilus ROV hooks incorporate patented locking technology with
unique “Positive Locking” function, ensuring load integrity in the
subsea environment. Innovative and cost effective, Nautilus subsea
hooks eliminate the risk of load self-release, ensuring safe and
secure subsea lifting operations.

ROV Shackles
ROV shackles are suitable for subsea use and operation by a Remote Operated Vehicle. For the
purpose of operating lifting equipment the Remote Operated Vehicle is fitted with a hydraulically
controlled arm to safely release or retrieve heavy equipment under water. ROV lifting equipment is
usually brightly coloured or white to assist the operator in identifying the components in poor or
artificial light under water.
Safety Pins for Shackles
Safety pin shackles are designed for maximum security and reliability. The shackle is secured using
a nut and bolt, with the safety pin providing an extra layer of fastening to further safeguard against
the shackle coming loose.

Lashing belts
Lashing belts are used to fasten and securing the loads.
Skookum Blocks
Skookum blocks has two or more pulleys with a rope or cable threaded between them, usually used
to lift or pull heavy loads. The pulleys are assembled together to form blocks and then blocks are
paired so that one is fixed and one moves with the load.

Snatch Blocks
Snatch blocks and wire rope pulleys are common lifting mechanisms used for rigging. Using a snatch block
in a block and tackle application reduces the amount of force required to lift an abnormally heavy object. A
pulley system is used in conjunction with wire rope or other types of rigging ropes, by looping the rope
through the pulley (around the sheave) several times before hooking to the object. The force required
diminishes proportionately with the amount of pulleys or “loops” used during the hoist.
Socketing Resins
Socketing compounds are used for wire ropes. Wirelock is the original cold socketing compound and,
therefore, eliminates the hazards of working with a molten metal, allowing socketing to be done on site in
virtually all weather conditions. It is extremely difficult to produce a void free socket when using molten metal,
but extremely easy to produce a void free socket using Wirelock. This ensures a quality socket every time.

Taglines are otherwise know as a guide line, guide rope, end line, strap lines or pay off lines
depending on which part of the world you are in but the most common term for use of a piece of rope
is “Tag line”.

Taglines
PSC LoadGuider Taglines are tangle resistant as it is designed with a rigid
core and stiff cover braiding to prevent any turning on itself and wrapping
around objects. The patented Helix spiral effect increases grip in wet and
slippery conditions.
Rigtools Taglines attached to the load, allow personnel to have greater
control of the lifting operation in a safe distance.
PSC Safe-Guider™ High-Viz Taglines are specially designed to be a safe
alternative to ineffective and hazardous rope when guiding a suspended
load.

The TCB is manufactured from the highest quality steel materials, offering a
lightweight, compact and rugged construction, producing an exceptionally strong
product resistant to impact damage. The exceptional short head room allows for
easy installation where every centimetre must be achieved.

Tiger Subsea Lever Hoist
The design and anti-corrosion features incorporated in the SS11 hoist range
give it significant safety advantages over standard lever hoists, making the hoist
the ideal tool for all Marine and extreme applications.

Weld on Pad Eyes
Weld on pad eyes are fabricated flat, bevelled and plate mounted with pad eyes to fit any lifting
devices. Weld on lifting eyes are permanent lifting points used to connect slings and rigging
hardware.
Winch Sales & Rentals
KKD can provide mechanical and electrical winches for erection, pulling and lifting, etc. from a
capacity of 250kg to 10 tonnes on new equipment sale basis or on rentals for projects duration.

Wire Rope & Chain Slings
Wire rope slings have great strength combined with flexibility. They do not wear as rapidly and the
indication of broken wires and appearances show its true condition. Chain has the advantage of being
better suited for lifting rough loads and withstanding high temperatures. When possible use a wire
rope sling instead of a chain sling. The failure of a single link of a chain can result in an accident.

Whether you need large quantity of rubber sheets in butyl, neoprene or any

Martin wire ropes.
