• AM has huge potential – devices, rapid prototyping
(TtM), tooling ….
• It’s complimentary to subtractive manufacturing
• It’s an enabler for evolution
• It’s a critical element of an integrated digital system
• Early phase of unlocking the innovation ‘value’ (metals,
polymers, ceramics, 3D printed live tissues)
