1. today is monday but F
2. members of parliament meet in the house of commons to discuss important
issues S
3. the conservatives are the current F
4. boris johnson is the current prime minister S

Noun, who/which/where
These sentences are similar to appositives! They are used to add further
information about a noun. For example:
Miss Rickwood, who loves cats, is looking for a new kitten.
London, which is the capital of the United Kingdom, is where members of
parliament meet.
Which one should I choose?
In these sentences you need to choose either who, which or where. How do you decide
which is the correct option?
If you’re talking about a person or animal – who
Mr Penney, who often wears a bow tie on a Friday, works at Ashcombe Primary school.
If you’re talking about an object – which
The printer, which is old and broken, is my newest renovation project.
If you’re talking about a place – where
Weston-Super-Mare, where Ashcombe Primary school is located, is filled with lovely
children.
Lets try this together
There will be a sentence with a gap and you need to select
if it is who, which or where. Write the sentence out in your
book and fill in the word you think is the correct answer.
Are you ready?
Miss Evans, _____ likes to read
books, regularly visits the library.
who where which
Miss Evans, _____ likes to read
books, regularly visits the library.
who
where which
The old, creaking house, _____
stood on the crooked hill, had been
abandoned for many years.
